This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a dry shaft design with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center-line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 256 JM frame with feet and a drip cover. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and uses across the line starting. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
