This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump is driven by a 1 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 143 frame. It is configured for a 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet premium efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is installed on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
