This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring and air venting.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure and a 145 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and connects the pump to the motor using a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard.
