This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 326 JM frame style that includes feet. The electrical requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH, and the motor features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and carries a PEI value of 0.92.
