This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump uses a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge featuring ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a bronze wear ring and is constructed for use with clean water.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame, operating at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. This unit features greasable bearings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a standard Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
