This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Additional features include a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps.
This pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a 3450 RPM rating and a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 213 JM motor frame style with feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is set to across the line, and the unit maintains a PEI value of 0.87.
