This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7.25" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal components are rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes a centerline discharge and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 2900 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 frame. The electrical configuration is 380-415V, 50Hz, 3PH with a Y-Delta high voltage starting option. The motor meets WEG Premium Efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The pump rotates in a standard counter-clockwise direction.
