This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for fluid temperatures up to 225°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC motor. It is built on a NEMA 213 T-frame and requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The assembly features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. It is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integrated drip pan. The pump meets NEMA standards for 40°C ambient conditions, complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
