This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. It uses a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge helps reduce piping strain.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes a JM frame with feet. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The ambient temperature rating is 40°C, and the unit operates in a CCW rotation. The pump has a PEI value of 0.96.
