This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel (NSF61) impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation up to 250°F. The unit is equipped with flush seal line taps to accommodate filtration and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with across-the-line starting and premium efficiency meeting MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. It is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
