This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is built with ANSI Class 125 flanges, including a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal that includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame houses greasable bearings to facilitate maintenance.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor, frame 324TS. The unit connects to a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option. It features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupling. This assembly maintains a 40°C ambient rating and holds a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
