This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit incorporates a dry shaft design and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The bearing frame is configured with greasable bearings.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213T frame operating at 1750 RPM. The power configuration is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH, with across-the-line starting and CCW rotation. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard protecting the Woods coupling. The DOE PEI rating for this unit is 0.91.
