This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Standard physical features include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design for service. The top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254 JM frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the system is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The pump assembly has a PEI of 0.91.
