This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft, and provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The assembly operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 184 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump has a PEI of 0.86.
