This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for internal servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure. It operates on 230-460/60/3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. The motor uses a JM frame style with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation. This unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and supports across-the-line starting. The equipment maintains a PEI rating of 0.94.
