This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 225°F. The construction includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, with a rear pullout design for servicing.
This pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. The motor is configured with a NEMA JM frame with feet and is compatible with 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power using across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation as viewed from the drive end. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.84.
