This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. Additional design elements include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance. The top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting and simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor. The motor features an ODP enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and no drip cover. It operates on 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an Across the Line starting option. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standards with a 40°C ambient temperature rating and counter-clockwise rotation. This motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.89.
