This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and a bronze impeller dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3. It incorporates a dry shaft design that isolates the circulating fluid from the stainless steel shaft. A bronze shaft sleeve protects the shaft while a mechanical seal with ceramic seat and EPT rubber manages fluid containment. The assembly holds a 125 PSI pressure rating and allows for servicing without disturbing the connected system piping.
This pump operates with a 75 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, which integrates Aegis grounding and utilizes a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.46. The S in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
