This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 4" suction, a 3" discharge, and an 11" stainless steel impeller. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the pump shaft from system fluid. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber sustains temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting piping, and the top center line discharge supports self-venting.
The pump uses a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on 575V/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. This configuration provides a DOE PEI of 0.91 for 40 °C ambient conditions and CCW rotation.
