This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The unit includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve as part of a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal comprising a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The pump features flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is mounted in a 284 JM frame with feet and configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and features premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55. It includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device, a 40°C ambient temperature rating, and across the line starting. This pump is rated for clean water applications and has a PEI of 0.97.
