This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured in a NEMA 184T frame and operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, supported by a greasable bearing frame. The equipment meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
