This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal stainless steel impeller housed in a cast iron casing and cover. The pump incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps, suction and discharge pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design that allows servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump uses a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 182 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. It is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and utilizes across the line starting. The unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.89.
