This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and allows for the installation of an optional filter in the seal flushing line.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 25 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor housed in a NEMA 284 frame. It is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler for the connection.
