This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel NSF61 impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It uses a JM motor frame style with feet and is configured for a 200V, 60HZ, 3PH power supply. The motor includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit is configured for across-the-line starting with a 40°C ambient temperature rating. It complies with DOE efficiency requirements with a PEI value of 0.92.
