This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design incorporates a dry shaft assembly, which utilizes a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the rotating elements from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat and EPT rubber ensures fluid containment, while the casing supports pressures up to 125 PSI and integrates a bronze wear ring. Center-line discharge architecture facilitates positive air venting, and the pump provides integrated gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
The 15 HP Premium Efficiency ODP 1750 RPM motor features Aegis grounding and operates on 200-230V 3PH power with a DOE PEI of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
