This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber supports temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections and supports flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP WEG premium efficiency motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a 184T NEMA frame, and operates on 230-460/60/3PH power. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.87.
