This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is configured with a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water temperatures up to 300 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting and a 40 °C ambient rating. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
