This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections. The pump uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber manages fluid containment at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges for piping connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor. The system is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and features a TEFC NEMA 254T frame with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly includes a welded base with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and carries a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
