This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ports utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal featuring a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F in clean water applications and includes a bronze wear ring within the casing.
The unit is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 184T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power with across the line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump uses a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. The system is rated for 40°C ambient environments, meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, and has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
