This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 11-1/4" bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes an integral drain port for maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power and is housed in a NEMA 286T frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model meets the MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standard and has a DOE PEI of 0.94. The bearing housing features permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
