This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring, a 6-1/4" diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and is equipped with a bearing frame featuring greasable bearings.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 215T T-frame ODP enclosure. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is powered by 230-460/60/3 voltage. This equipment features AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for across-the-line starting. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
