This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a nominal diameter of 11", and a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design and includes a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. It is mounted on a NEMA 254T frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly sits on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is equipped with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods standard coupler. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
