This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing constructed with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve to protect the pump shaft from direct contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal design integrates ceramic seat and EPT rubber materials, resulting in a pressure rating of 125 PSI. This construction allows for the servicing of internal components without the need to disturb system piping connections.
Operating with a 75 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor at 3450 RPM, the assembly integrates Aegis Grounding and a power supply of 380-460V / 3PH, reaching a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
