This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor uses a 213 JM frame with feet and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
