This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The pump assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design to allow servicing without disturbing system piping. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet, size 213. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH, with an across the line starting option and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards, operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature, and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This unit has a PEI of 0.92 and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
