This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge configuration for air venting. The assembly integrates a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered with a dry shaft design, the pump prevents circulating fluid contact with the shaft and operates at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components seals the assembly to manage internal flow.
The 75 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and is powered by a 380-460V / 3PH supply, achieving a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
