This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel impeller to ensure hydraulic stability. It integrates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly utilizes a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal to maintain fluid integrity, while the casing incorporates an integrated wear ring and supports a maximum pressure rating of 125 PSI.
The system utilizes a 15 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, integrated with Aegis grounding and powered by a 380-460V 3PH supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
