This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and a rear pullout configuration to facilitate maintenance. The top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces piping strain.
The pump uses a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted in a 256 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 380V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The assembly functions in a 40 °C ambient environment with a counter-clockwise rotation as standard. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
