This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and promotes self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 1 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 143 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and uses 230-460V 3PH 60Hz power. This motor meets NEMA standards and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. It features AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump includes across-the-line starting and maintains a PEI of 0.78.
