This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump assembly includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 213T NEMA frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A flexible Woods coupler connects the motor to the pump, which utilizes greasable bearings within the bearing frame. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
