This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly uses a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge assists in self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor features a 213 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply requirement is 230/460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter. The pump rotation is counter-clockwise, and the unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
