This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The nominal impeller diameter is 13-1/2". The internal mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The design utilizes a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps are provided.
This unit is configured with a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 284 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM with a power supply of 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump utilizes across-the-line starting and operates in ambient temperatures of 40 °C. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and promotes self-venting.
