This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and 3" discharge. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber mechanical seal, and it operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges with a bronze wear ring. Additional physical features include a dry shaft design, a slip-on shaft sleeve, flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design with top center line discharge.
The pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 184JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is configured for a 40°C ambient environment, meets NEMA standards, and features premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89. It is set for counter-clockwise rotation and is built without a drip cover.
