This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of EPT rubber, a carbon rotor, and a ceramic seat, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 286TS frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with a DOE PEI of 0.93.
