This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is constructed with a rear pullout design, top centerline discharge, and flush seal line taps, with pressure tappings provided on the suction and discharge connections. This unit does not include a wear ring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. The motor is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and features an across-the-line starting option. It is built on a 145 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA standards. The motor is a premium efficiency model that complies with MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.78.
