This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing and an 11-1/4" bronze impeller. It includes 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly is supported by sealed-for-life ball bearings housed within a cast iron bearing frame.
This pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor, which features a NEMA 215 T-frame design. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power using an across-the-line starting method. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The unit maintains a PEI value of 0.95 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
