This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings, and the unit design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor. The motor is configured in a NEMA 284 frame and utilizes across-the-line starting on a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The assembly includes a "J" size power frame, a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan, and a coupler guard with a Woods coupler. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. It meets EISA compliance standards with a DOE PEI value of 0.95 and an HI energy rating of 5.
