This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option and a NEMA 184T frame. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.87.
