This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump contains a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum operating temperature of 250 °F. The rear pullout design permits servicing of internal components without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge allows for self-venting. Flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of an external filter.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply using an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a 284 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This configuration meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
