This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor is a NEMA T-frame 213 style with a TEFC enclosure and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and the pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
